The Design Process – What to Expect
Every project is unique, but here’s a simple outline of how the process usually works:
Initial Consultation
We start with a site visit or video call to discuss your space, needs, and goals. This is your chance to share ideas, ask questions, and tell me how you’d like to use the garden.Design Proposal
You’ll receive a tailored proposal outlining the scope of the project, design stages, estimated costs, and timelines.Concept Design
A concept plan captures the overall look, feel, and layout of your new garden — including mood boards and sketches to bring the vision to life.Detailed Design
Once the concept is approved, you will receive detailed plans with planting schemes, material choices, and construction drawings (if required).Installation & Project Oversight
I can recommend trusted contractors or work alongside your chosen team to help bring the design to life. I stay involved throughout to make sure everything aligns with the vision.
We’ve designed compact balconies to pub courtyards and community gardens — so no matter the size or purpose of your space, we’d love to hear about your project.
